Banner making

For anyone who has seen my previous posts and photos of banners that I have made, if you have thought something like "wow what an amazing artist she is," or "I wish I could make banners like that," fear not, because this is well within your reach. I would love to leave you all thinking that I am talented enough to freehand my banners, but I must confess, I'm not. Anyone who can do these three things and make an amazing banner

1) find clipart on the internet
2) use clipart in a powerpoint slide
3) Project onto a sheet and trace

Let me explain, For this banner I Found the picture of obama's head on google images and put it into a powerpoint slide.
then I typed my text and added the speech bubble which is one of the shapes that powerpoint has for you to use. Then I hung a sheet on a wall, projected my powerpoint slide onto it and traced. The final step if to pant in your lines with fabric paint, this takes a long time, but is fun to do with friends and if you do a careful job it will come out awesome! Below is what I projected onto the sheet for this banner.

You can get much more complicated than this however, you can find just about any clipart that you want on the web. I used the same technique to make this banner below.
